وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ
And I (Allâh) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone).(Surah Adh Dhariyat)
Tawheed
"Truly, your god is truly One( Allah )!" [Qur'an 37:4]
Tawheed means unification (oneness). It is the greatest foundation of Islamic belief. In fact, a person is considered as Muslim if he/she accepts that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and His messenger to humankind.
Traditionally, Tawheed has been divided into three categories which help us to understand why Allah alone deserves to be singled out for worship
1. Tawheed ar-Ruboobeeyah ("Maintaining the Unity of Lordship")
This first category of Tawheed is known as Tawheed-Ar Ruboobiyyah or the unity of Allaah's Lordship. Through this we understand that it is Allaah Who Alone created the universe, which is why one of His divine names is Al-Khaaliq (the Creator). Through this we know that it is Allaah Alone Who controls the universe and allows things to happen.
2. Tawheed al-Asmaa was-Sifaat ("Maintaining the Unity of Allah's Names and
Attributes")
This category of Tawheed is known as Tawheed Al-Asmaa' Was-Siffaat or the unity of Allaah's Names and Attributes. As Allah said:
And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh[], so call on Him by them, and leave the company of those who belie or deny (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do. (Surah Al 3araf:180)
3. Tawheed al-'Ebaadah/ Ulooheeyah ("Maintaining the Unity of Allah's Worship")
This part of Tawheed is known as Tawheed Al-'Ibaadah, or the unity of Allaah's worship. It is this aspect of Tawheed which is the most important. It is through this that we learn how to worship our Creator alone.
"And your Lord says, Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” [Quran 40:60]
The opposite of Tawheed is 'Shirk' which is to associate partners with Allah by giving (or attributing) that which is exclusively His to others.
"Surely Allaah will not forgive the association of partners (Shirk) with Him, but He forgives (sins) less than that of whomever He wishes."( Soorah an-Nisaa, 4:48.)
Two types of shirk: major shirk and minor shirk
1 , Major shirk is devoting any kind of act of worship which should be for Allaah to someone other than, such as praying to anyone other than Allaah, fasting for anyone other than Allaah or offering a sacrifice to anyone other than Allaah. It is also a form of major shirk to offer supplication (du’aa) to anyone other than Allaah, such as calling upon the occupant of a grave or calling upon one who is absent to help one in some way in which no one is able to help except Allaah.
2. Minor shirk, which means every kind of speech or action that Islaam describes as shirk, but it does not put a person beyond the pale of Islaam – such as swearing an oath by something other than Allaah, because the Prophet (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) said,
( “Whoever swears an oath by something other than Allaah is guilty of kufr or shirk.” )
It is not permissible to swear by the Prophet (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam), or by the president, or by the Ka’bah, or by Jibreel, because this is shirk, but it is minor shirk which does not put a person beyond the pale of Islaam.
Another type of minor shirk is showing off( Raya ), which means that a person does something so that people will see it, not for the sake of Allaah.
The ways in which showing off may cancel out acts of worship are either of the following

Kalima
La Ilaha Illa- llah Muhammadur Rasoolallah,,,I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger
It is common belief among Muslims today that anyone who professes "La Ilaha ill-Allah" and "Muhammadun Rasoolullah" will enter Paradise . Yet this testimony is more than a statement of the tongue. It is an oath, a commitment that must be fulfilled. It has conditions and requirements which affect all aspects of life. It concerns authority - what actually governs our behavior and deeds. The Arabs of Quraish who refused to pronounce this kalimah did so because they fully understood its implications. Yet Muslims repeat it today without a second thought, their actions and lifestyles bearing witness to something totally different. And they expect Paradise !

Conditions Of Kalima
The conditions of the Shahaadah (testimony of Faith) are eight:
1: Ilm (Knowledge): Knowledge of it's meaning - what is confirmed by it and what is negated by it. So know that there is no God except Allah, and ask forgiveness for your sin" (Qur'an, Muhammad 19).
2. Yaqeen (Certainty): Certainty of it's meaning, free from doubt or suspicion. This means on must be upon certainty that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah. Our hearts must not be wavering in any way when we testify to the truth (Al hujarat 15.)
3. Al-Ikhlaas (Sincerity): it means the sincerity that servant has towards only his Lord, in all acts of worship. For example, if anyone deviates from this sincerity to Allaah and directs it toward a Prophet, a walee, an idol, a king, the jinn or any other false object of worship, than certainly he is guilty of committing shirk (polytheism) and has contradicted this condition of the Shahaadah (testimony of Faith), which is Sincerity.
4. As-Sidq (Truthfulness): It means to speak the truth in order to remove any traces of hypocrisy(Nifaq). This is the meaning of Sidq. It also means to observe truthfulness with the tongue as well as the heart. If sidq is only observed by the tongue and not by the heart, then this condition of sidq (truthfulness) has not been met.
5. Al-Mahabbah (Love): it means to love Allaah. The declaration of the Shahaadah requires that the person loves Allaah. If someone declares his faith but does not love Allaah then he's at a stage of kufr, where he doesn't enter into Islam, as was the way of the hypocrites. The proof for this is in the saying of Allaah:
“Say (O Muhammad sal-Allaahu 'alayhe wa sallam, to mankind) if you really love Allaah then follow me. Allaah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allaah is oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Soorah Aali ‘Imraan: 31]
6. Al-Inqiyaad (Compliance): One must comply with the obligations of the Shahaadah. This means to carry out all the obligatory duties with faith and certainty that these obligations are the rights your Lord has over you. If one fails to worship Allaah, , then he is not from the believers, as was the case with Iblees (the Devil) and others of his nature.
7. Al-Qubool (Acceptance): One must accept the Shahaadah and it’s meaning. This means accepting all its conditions with sincerity and worshiping only Allaah. It also entails leaving off that which is worshipped besides Allaah as equals, whilst being firm on this and pleased with it. (zumar 3 )
8. Rejection of anything worshipped besides Allaah: The meaning of this condition is that one must stay clear of and distance himself from all acts of worship other than the worship of Allaah. And he must recognize, with certainty that all acts of worship, which are not done solely for Allaah, are false and to be rejected.
Allaah says in the Qur’aan:
“Whoever disbelieves in the Taghoot (false deities and systems) and believes in Allaah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allaah is the All=Seeing, All-Knowing.” [Soorah al-Baqarah: 256]

End Of The World
“They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: ‘The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): none but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you.’ They ask thee as if thou were eager in search thereof: say: ‘The knowledge thereof is with Allâh (alone), but most men know not.’ ” (al-A‘râf 7:187)
Anas ibn Malik said, "I shall tell you a Hadîth which I heard from the Messenger of Allâh, and which no-one will tell you after me. I heard him say, 'Among the signs of the Hour will be the disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance. Adultery will be prevalent and the drinking of wine will be common. The number of men will decrease and the number of women will increase until there will be fifty women to be looked after by one man.''
Abdullâh said, "The Prophet said, 'Just before the Hour, there will be days in which knowledge will disappear and ignorance will appear, and there will be much killing.' " (Ibn Majah; also narrated by al-Bukhârî and Muslim.
Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman said, "The Prophet said, 'Islâm will become worn out like clothes are, until there will be no-one who knows what fasting, prayer, charity and rituals are. The Qur'ân will disappear in one night, and no Ayah will be left on earth. Some groups of old people will be left who will say, 'We heard our fathers saying La ilaha illa Allâh, so we repeated it.' Silah asked Hudhayfah, "What will saying La ilaha illa Allâh do for them when they do not know what prayer, fasting, ritual and charity are?" Hudhayfah ignored him; then Silah repeated his question three times, and each time Hudayfah ignored him. Finally he answered, "O Silah, it will save them from Hell", and said it three times. (Ibn Majah)

Who is Mahdee?
The Mahdi will come at the end of time; he is one of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs and Imâms.The matter we intend to discuss has been proven by Ahadîth narrated from the Prophet – sallallâhu ’alayhi wa sallam -: that the Mahdi will appear at the end of time. I believe that he will appear before Jesus the son of Mary comes down, as the Ahadîth indicate. The Mahdi will rule until the False Messiah (al-Masih al-Dajjal) appears, who will spread oppression and corruption. The only ones who will know him well and avoid his evil will be those who have great knowledge and îmân (faith).
Abû Dâwûd reported a Hadîth from 'Abdullâh ibn Masud: The Prophet said, "If there were only one day left for the world, that day would be lengthened until a man from among my descendants or from among the people of my household, was sent; his name will be the same as my name, and his fathers name will be the same as my fathers name. He will fill the earth with justice and fairness, just as it will have been filled with injustice and oppression. The world will not end until a man of my household, whose name is the same as mine, holds away."
Who is Dajjal?
The Dajjal will be a man, created by Allâh to be a test for people at the end of time. He will emerge from a road in an area between Shaam and 'Iraaq and will begin to call the people to worship him. A majority of the people that will follow him will be from the Jews, women and bedouins. Seventy-thousand Jews from Asfahaan (in present-day Iran) will follow him and he will travel throughout the entire earth, just as the wind blows rain in all directions, except for Makkah and Madeenah, for he will be prevented from entering them Many will be led astray through him, and many will be guided through him; only the sinful will be led astray The length of his stay will be forty days. One day will be like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week and the rest of the days will be as normal
Abû Hurayrah said, "The Prophet said, "The Hour will not come ... until nearly 30 "dajjals" (liars) appear, each one claiming to be a messenger from Allâh.'" (al-Bukhârî Muslim)
Abû Hurayrah said, "The Prophet said, 'Shall I tell you something about the Dajjal which no Prophet has ever told his people before me? The Dajjal is one-eyed and will bring with him something which will resemble Paradise and Hell; but that which he calls Paradise will in fact be Hell. I warn you against him as Noah warned his people against him.'" (al-Bukhârî,)
From these Ahadîth, we can see that Allâh will test His servants with the Dajjal and by the miracles which he will be permitted to perform: as we have already mentioned, the Dajjal will order the sky to rain for those who accept him, and will order the earth to bring forth its fruits so that they and their livestock will eat of it, and their flocks will return fat and with their udders full of milk. Those who reject the Dajjal and refuse to believe in him will suffer drought and famine; people and livestock will die, and wealth and supplies of food will be depleted. People will follow the Dajjal like swarms of bees, and he will kill a young man and bring him back to life. This is not a kind of magic; it will be something real with which Allâh will test His servants at the end of time. Many will be led astray, and many will be guided by it. Those who doubt will disbelieve, but those who believe will be strengthened in their faith. Even if he brings great terror, the word Kafir will be clearly written between his eyes; one report explains that it will be written "Kaf, Fa, Ra," from which we can understand that it will be written perceptibly, not abstractly, as some people say. One of his eyes will be blind.
Protection agninst the Dajjal
1.Seeking refuge with Allâh from his tribulation
2. Memorising certain Ayat from Surat al-Ka. Abûl-Dira reported that the Prophet - sallallâhu ’alayhi wa sallam - said, "Whoever memorises the first ten Ayat of Surat al-Kahf will be protected from the Dajjal." (Abû Dâwûd)
3. Keeping away from the Dajjal One way to be protected from the tribulation of the Dajjal is to live in Madînah or makkah. Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet - sallallâhu ’alayhi wa sallam - said, "There are angels standing at the gates of Madînah; neither plague nor the Dajjal can enter it." (al-Bukhârî, Muslim)
How will Isa – alayhi sallam- (Jeses) appear?
The false Messiah will remain for a while, destroying mankind completely, and the earth will witness the greatest Fitnah (tribulation) in its history. Then the Messiah Jesus (alayhe sallam) will descend, bringing justice from heaven. He will kill the Dajjal, and there will be years of safety and security.
This state of affairs will continue for some years, until the death of Jesus. The Ulama differ concerning the order in which the other greater signs of the Hour will come about.
Abû Hurayrah reported that the Prophet - sallallâhu ’alayhi wa sallam - said, "The Prophets are like brothers; they have different mothers but their religion is one. I am the closest of all the people to Jesus son of Mary, because there is no other Prophet between him and myself. He will come down again as a just leader, and when you see him, you will recognise him. He is of medium height and his colouring is reddish-white. He will be wearing two garments, and his hair will look wet. He will break the cross, kill the pigs, abolish the Jizyah and call the people to Islâm. During his time, Allâh will end every religion and sect other than Islâm, and will destroy the Dajjal. Then peace and security will prevail on earth, so that lions will graze with camels, tigers with cattle, and wolves with sheep; children will be able to play with snakes without coming to any harm. Jesus will remain for forty years, then die, and the Muslims will pray for him." (Ahmad)
Here After
Allah has created Human beings to worship Him, to obey Him, to know Him and to love Him. He did not leave them alone. From His immense Mercy, He reveled books and religions to them and sent Prophets and Messengers to explain these books and Messages. There is nothing that leads to goodness and success in this life and the hereafter that the Messengers did not mentions, and similarly there is nothing that lead to the anger and wrath of Allah that they did not warn from and called to avoid
Allah who has forbidden oppression on Himself and on His creatures, is also the Most Wise the Most Merciful and the Oft Forgiving. He promised that those who would obey Him and His messengers would be rewarded by al-Jannah (Paradise) and His pleasure on them, and those who disobeyed Him and His messengers, and contended with the Messenger and followed paths other than the path of the believers they also shall be rewarded justly and fairly with Hell Fire wal-`iyaathu biLLAH (we seek protection and refuge in Allah from that).
Hell Fire
The Companions of our Prophet Muhammed (salallaahu 'alayhi wa salaam) used to gather to remember death so that they would benefit their souls by increasing in fear of Allaah and strive to gain His pleasure. If this was the case of the Sahaabah and they were the best of generations, the most pious and God-fearing of this ummah, then what about us? Surely, it means that we need to engage in the remembrance of Allaah - The Most Perfect, The Most High - even more. After all, we are in far more need of this act of worship than they were.
Hell Fire
"So he neither believed nor did he pray. Rather he belied and turned away." [Surati Al-Qiyaamah: 31-32]
This transgressor will remain in his grave alone; there will be no-one to sit with him and no-one to keep him company. He will feel the heat of the fire, smell its foul odour, and be tortured therein. This man's graves will squeeze in upon him so much so that the bones of his rib cage will cross each other. Despite all this punishment and all this torture and pain, he will hope that the hour will never be established. For this man knows that the hour is far worse and of he will be in greater loss on that Day.
The man hears 'As-Saakhah' from within his grave, and what is 'As-Saakhah'? It is the second blowing of the trumpet. This is when all that is in the graves shall be raised and ressurrected. So the criminal Will Cry:
"Woe to us, who has woken us from our resting place?" It will be said: "This is what the Ever-Merciful promised and the messengers where truthful." [Yasin: 52]
The earth will be torn away from above him. This man will see the heavens being cleft asunder, the stars falling and being scattered, the oceans in their greatness bursting forth, burning; the graves will at that time bring forth their contents.
"Every person shall know what he has sent forth of good and bad deeds at that moment." [Al-Infitaar: 1-5]
Then he will rise up and driven to the crowding place: 'Al-Mahshar'
"That day, the mother who is nursing her child will become careless of it, the mother who is carrying her child will drop her load. That day, mankind will appear as if they are drunk yet they they are not drunk. Indeed the punishment of your Lord is great." [Al-Hajj 1-2]
The mother will come to her son and say: "Oh my son, my breast was a container for you, my womb was a container for you. Oh my son I seek from you a hasanah (merit) that I may approach Allaah with. My son, do not be greedy towards me". In the world this son would have sacrificed his life, rather many lives for merely the happiness of his mother so how does he treat her now? He responds to her plea: "Get away from me! Leave me! Indeed I am in need of this merit more than you."
"So when 'As-Saakhah' comes. That day a man will flee from his brother, from his mother and his father, from his wife and his children. That day every man shall have enough to make him careless of others." [Al-Abasa: 33-37]
So mankind will wait in this crowding place for 50,000 years, after which Allah, The Most Perfect and The Most High, will come to judge them. So He will call the criminal and say to him, "Oh so and so, did I not give you of the cold water to drink? Did I not give you a healthy body? Did I not give you many bounties? What have you done with all that which I bestowed upon you?" So the man replies, "I have done nothing my Lord."
So he lies to his Lord on that day. Allah says: "Where are the witnesses!". So the Angels come and bear witness that this criminal did not pray in those moments of prayer, he drank, fornicated, laid, cursed and insulted. He turned away from belief and was proud and arrogant. So the criminal says to his Lord, "I do not accept accept a witness except one from myself." His Lord replies to him, "And you have that?"
"The day when we shall seal their mouths, there hands will speak to us and their legs will bear witness to that which they used to earn." [Yasin: 65]
"Nay, when the earth is shaken a true shaking and you’re Lord comes with the Angels in rows. That day the Fire will be brought near. That day man will remember but how will that remembrance avail him? He will say, 'Woe to me! Would that I had put forth something for this life.' " [Al-Fajr: 21-24]
This man then remembers. This criminal remembers that when he heard the call for prayer and he did not respond to it. He remembers when he woke and the sun had already risen yet he had not prayed al-fajr. This man remembers when he abused this one, when he slandered that one, when he earned that unlawful wealth, when he struck this one and killed that one. This criminal remembers every sin with which he disobeyed Allah with. That day all his remorse and regret amounts to nothing. Then Allah will say, "Seize him and fetter him. Then throw him into the blazing fire. Then put a chain which is 70 cubits long through him. Indeed he did not used to believe in Allah, The Most Perfect, The Most High."
The Angels will then drag him upon his face into the fire. As he enters it he will see his friends from the world already present.
"Whenever their skins have been done (burnt away) we replace them with new skins so that they may taste of the punishment." [an-Nisaa: 56].
"No food will they have except Ad-Daree'. It neither nourishes nor removes hunger." [Al-Ghaashiyah: 6-7]
When they eat it they choke due to the thorns. So when they are choking they ask to be rescued with water, so they are rescued with intensely boiling water which grills their faces when they approach it. When they drink from the water, due to its heat, it cuts their intestines and causes them an increased pain. They eat from Az-Zaquum. They eat a bitter fruit which cannot be tasted.
"Indeed the tree of Zaquum will be the food of the sinners. Like boiling oil, it will boil in the belies, like the boiling of scalding water. It will be said: Drag, seize him and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire. Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. Taste! You were pretending to be the Mighty the Generous." [ad-Dukhaan: 43-49]
Due to this intense pain, suffering and anguish they are experiencing they call upon the guardian of hell-fire, ( May Allah protect us from hell fire ( ameen )

Paradise
Paradise
Certainly the ultimate goal of every Muslim is Paradise . As with all aspects of the Unseen, it can be only imagined through analogy, yet its realities are far beyond description in any human language. Allah (subhaanahu wa ta`aala) has prepared for His servants, "what no eye has seen and no ear has heard and has never occurred to a human heart." [al-Bukhaari, Muslim and others
Yet many of today's Muslims consider themselves a chosen people, while neglecting the commands of their Lord, turning their backs on the sunnah of their Prophet (peace be upon him) and insisting on a secular life far from the blessings of divine law... perhaps even going so far as to deny certain aspects of that law. Customs and traditions, materialism, man-made social systems, national leaders and even their own inclinations are now sharing the authority which rightfully belongs exclusively to our Creator, Owner of the Day of Judgment.
The reward of Paradise is too great not to have a price. That price is true faith which is proven by obedience to Allah and His Messenger. The Qur'aan states, "And whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effor due to it while being a believer - those are the ones whose effort is appreciated [by Allah]." [ Surah Al Isra:19 ]
We must return to the Qur'aan, not simply in an emotional or academic manner, but with a sense of instruction for obedience and action. We must find out what kind of people Allah has asked us to be and then become as such. This is the road to Paradise
We need a key to open our car’s door, or hous door, or office door; similarly we need a key to open Jannah to us. What is this key?
Prophet (saw) said,"Whoever goes down a path/road searching for knowledge, Allah will make it easy for him the road to Paradise ." [Saheeh Muslim, Vol.3 Hadith No. 99]
Narrated Abu Huraira (ra): The Prophet (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, "Allah will give shade to seven, on the Day when there would be no shade but His. (These seven persons are)
1. A just ruler,
2. A youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah (i.e. worships Allah Alone sincerely from his childhood),
3. A man whose heart is attached to the mosques [i.e. who offers the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) in the mosques],
4. Two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's Cause only,
5. A man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illegal sexual intercourse with her and says: I am afraid of Allah,
6. A man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity), and
7. A person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes become flooded with tears."
